Social Inclusion

As people get older, they become less mobile, may lose friends and family, and so they can become increasingly isolated.

Age Concern Colchester feels that it is important for the wellbeing of older people that they should not become isolated and we run a number of social activities in the Colchester area.

The Autumn Leaves Tea Club

Coffee Mornings and First Friday Club

Coffee is available every Friday morning at Globe House between 10 am and 12 noon. Do come along and enjoy the friendship.

The First Friday Club is held on the first Friday of each month where one can join others with a meal either at Globe House or at another agreed location.
