Advice
Service
The
Advice Service is part of Age Concern Colchester and offers a free, impartial,
independent and confidential service.
The advice service
helps with benefit entitlement, form filing, access to services, challenging
decisions and representation at tribunals. The areas covered by this service
are Welfare Benefits, Health and Community Care and Housing.

Advocacy
Service
We also offer an Advocacy Service whereby one of our trained and experienced advocates will work with you on a one to one basis to resolve serious issues. These could be related to your finances or perhaps problems you are having getting the right kind of care for yourself or a loved one.

Service
If you are having problems regarding utility services then we may be able to assist you.
We will offer advice and, if appropriate, take up the case on your behalf.
