This Centre is open five days a week
providing care and support for older people in the Tiptree area who have been
referred by Social Services. It provides support for the more frail older person
giving them, their carers and relatives a break from regular routines.
About the
Centre
• It is staffed by a professional,
skilled and caring team from Age Concern Colchester
• It offers 75 places a week
for older people to have access to a centre providing companionship, social
activities, health promotion, information and advice and concern for their welfare.
• It ensures each guest is
given freedom of choice to do what they want in order to meet their needs.
• Refreshments and a midday
meal are provided. A charge is payable daily to cover these costs.
• Special outings are arranged
to suit the needs of guests.
• Essex Social Care referred guests are collected and
returned home by minibus.
We can now accept Private Guests who do not meet the Essex Social Care criteria for a set fee.
