Be Warm - Be Safe is a new intitiative by Age Concern Colchester to help older people to maintain a healthy lifestyle by living in an environment that is both warm and safe for them.
Aspects of the initiative are:
- Help and support for matters of energy efficiency
- Help and advice in get best value energy suppliers
- Fire safety and the fittting of smoke detectors
- Home security by fitting door bars, spyhole and mirrors
- Providing help and support regarding distraction burglary
